Commercial Marine has been in operation for the last 10 years and has built over 2000 boats for the Local market. (One day fishing boat and small tinky boats, Canoe's other traditional fishing vessels). The company has a fully equipped molding shop for building of vessels under the supervision of the Ministry of fisheries authorized marine engineer surveys. There are also two other boatyards situated in Kaluthra and Berewalla to supply the requirements of fisherman of Sri Lanka. Company employee's 75 workers in all 3 boatyards.
